Predictable/Repetitious Stories
Read stories that are predictable because then student will have an idea of what may happen in the story and they don't have to try to figure out what is happening while listening to the story. Students will get stuck on one part of the story if they are trying to figure out something and then miss the entire rest of the book. So, to avoid this, read books that are predictable and repetitious. This will help the students become fluent in figuring out predictable and repetitious texts.

Dramatic play is so important for children. They get to play with other their age, and while playing they are learning. They are learnnig the vocabulary that their peers are using and they are sharing their vocabulary that they have with their peers. Dramatic play is a big part of vocabulary development.
