Tongue Twisters
Tongue twisters are a great way for students to be fluent in speaking words. It will also help them be fluent in picking out the initial sounds of words that they hear throughout the sentence. Having students make their tongue twisters can be a fun project, which will help them become fluent in the vocabulary that they will use for it.
Audio Books
Listening to audio book, while looking at the book helps the student become fluent in reading the book in their own. If they are listening the audio book daily while looking and pointing from word to word in the book following along, they will be able to read the book without the audio book. Audi books help build vocabulary and help build fluency and accuracy when reading, especially when just learning how to read.
