Think-Pair-Share
Give students a question. Have them think about the question first, then have them pair up with a peer and talk about their answers. After they are done sharing with each other, have some students share with the whole class. This will make them think on their own and then think with others and hear their ideas.
Mystery Box
Hide objects in a box. Have student feel in the box and have them describe what the object feels like and the shape of it. This will get children to understand the mearning of objects, but just not by seeing it. After they are done descrbing it they can look in the box and see how close they were to be correct about the object. They then can describe the differences in what they described and what they see.
